Do the e-visa yourself, three weeks out.
Almost every nationality needs a visa, and almost every nationality applies online before travelling. The single-entry tourist visa is $50 and usually comes back in three to seven working days. Apply at least three weeks before you fly and print the approval letter — immigration still likes paper.
If your route crosses into Rwanda or Kenya, the East Africa Tourist Visa at $100 covers Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda for 90 days and is far better value than three separate visas. Tell us at booking and we will confirm which one your route needs.
